Mr Chester, Mr Pearce and Chief Commissioner Ashton were keynote speakers at the annual dinner which brings together representatives from Gippsland major industries with emergency service agencies. The Central Gippsland Essential Industries Group takes a regional approach to major incidents. Members work together to plan and respond to emergencies such as fire flood and industrial accidents that occur in the region, recognising the strategic importance of all organisations to Gippsland and the state of Victoria
