Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester handed over a cheque to Gippsland Rotary Centenary House volunteers after crossing the finish line of the Traralgon Harriers Community Fun Run and Walk on Sunday.  For the second consecutive year, Mr Chester pledged to donate $2 to Centenary House for every person who beat him across the line in the annual fun run. The event attracted more than 550 entries, with 140 of them beating the new Minister for Infrastructure and Transport. Mr Chester handed over the cheque in good spirits and is pictured with Rotary Centenary House Chairman Ken Peake, Committee Representative Mike Ainswerth, and Traralgon Harriers President Will Hanrahan. Gippsland Rotary Centenary House is an essential cancer support service, which provides accommodation and support to patients and their families undergoing Cancer Treatment in the Latrobe Valley.
