Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester is supporting Paynesville Business and Tourism Association’s ‘top 10 actions’ to improve the region.
Mr Chester has congratulated the community leaders for developing a plan to make Paynesville an even better place to live, work and visit.
“The PBTA has highlighted the need for investment on public land to improve infrastructure in areas like Slip Road and to work with the Raymond Island community to develop a world-class koala experience for locals and visitors,” Mr Chester said.
“The business leaders also want to work with all levels of government to build and promote the Paynesville brand, develop a year-round calendar of events and engage with private land owners to encourage them to invest with confidence.
“I’m very supportive of the plan and I will work with PBTA to get more action on projects that will benefit Paynesville and the wider region.”
