Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police Graham Ashton and Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester were keynote speakers at the Central Gippsland Essential Industries Group annual dinner in Traralgon Friday night. The Central Gippsland Essential Industries Group takes a regional approach to major incidents. Members work together to plan and respond to emergencies such as fire flood and industrial accidents that occur in the region, recognising the strategic importance of all organisations to Gippsland and the state of Victoria.
