Parklets along Commercial Road are now installed and providing pedestrians with additional seating, gathering spaces and brightly coloured gardens.
Gippsland MP Darren Chester recently enjoyed a walk down Commercial Road to see the progress.
“These parklets enhance the pedestrian experience with places to sit and enjoy the sunshine in summer and have a chat,” Mr Chester said.
“The small gardens bring a touch of colour and nature to an otherwise typical concrete streetscape.
“Once completed, the Morwell CBD Revitalisation will provide the community with gathering spaces, additional seating and a more accessible pedestrian experience.”
