Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester says the Eagle Point Foreshore Hub is a world class facility for locals and visitors to enjoy. Mr Chester is pictured with Myia from the foreshore cafe, which is currently operated by East Gippsland Shire Council.
“The foreshore hub is a $4.5 million redevelopment which showcases the magnificent location overlooking the Gippsland Lakes,” Mr Chester said.
“The funding was a partnership between the previous Federal Government and the Shire, and it was great to see local tradespeople doing an awesome job to deliver this project.
“The Shire is planning to lease the cafe to a private operator in the future and it will be a great business opportunity for the right operator.”
