Free copies of the 2014 ‘Love Our Lakes’ calendar are still available to Gippslanders.

The calendar, which features shots of local waterways, was developed by Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester in conjunction with the Gippsland Lakes Ministerial Advisory Committee.

Captains Cove in Paynesville, McMillans of Metung and Bridges On Argyle in Traralgon sponsored prizes to the winning photographers in each category.

“We’ve received a great response to the calendar already with many people commenting on the quality of photographs which depict the natural beauty of our lakes, rivers and associated waterways,” Mr Chester said.

“I still have a number of copies left so if anyone would like one, they should either visit or contact my office.”

Free copies of the ‘Love Our Lakes’ calendar can be collected in person from Mr Chester’s offices at 36 Macarthur St, Sale and 126 Franklin St, Traralgon.

Copies of the calendar can also be requested by phone on 1300 131 785 and via email darren.chester.mp@aph.gov.au

Residents in Bairnsdale can also obtain a copy of the calendar from the office of State Member for Gippsland Tim Bull at 143 Main St.

Morwell residents can pick one up from the office of State Member for Morwell Russell Northe at 66 George St.
