NATIONAL PARTY MPs EXPERIENCE EAST GIPPSLAND

February 3, 2012

National Party State MPs have experienced East Gippsland during a strategic planning workshop to further develop policy and set targets for the year ahead.

The group spent two days in East Gippsland focusing on issues affecting local industry.

Time was also spent inspecting local projects, businesses and discussing the potential for further investment in the region.

Member for Gippsland East, Tim Bull, said the contingent involved several members of State Cabinet.

“The workshop was a good opportunity to convey a range of East Gippsland issues to senior State Government Ministers,” Mr Bull said.

“The group was also able to see first-hand major projects which are being undertaken and the potential for further investment to continue to grow and develop East Gippsland.”
