The Nationals Member for Gippsland Darren Chester dropped in to see the new Sale and District Specialist School after it opened its doors to students last week.
Mr Chester met with principal Shelagh Donegan, who showed him around the new campus, just off the Princes Highway.
“This is a great facility and is the result of a grassroots campaign led by concerned parents,” Mr Chester said. “Securing State Government funding was critical to the success of that campaign.”
“I want to congratulate everyone involved in bringing the project to fruition.”
