The Traralgon Railway Station has undergone quite a transformation according to Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester (pictured).
Mr Chester said the upgrades would improve travellers’ experience when utilising the V/line services.
“The new pedestrian overpass is installed as well as the new platform with works continuing to have it accessible to the public as soon as possible,” Mr Chester said.
“The upgraded and new infrastructure will allow for more frequent services and make the stations and platforms more accessible for travellers.
“I secured almost $500 million from the previous Federal Government for the Gippsland Line Upgrade when I was Transport Minister and it’s great to see work progressing across our region.”
