The Nationals Member for Gippsland Darren Chester was pleasantly surprised to run into two young women from his hometown of Sale in Queensland recently.
Mr Chester had been in Toowoomba on ministerial business. On his departure, he was greeted by Leading Aircraftwoman Madeline Meyer (left) and Aircraftwoman Leah Aspinall, two of the crew attendants assigned to the flight to Sale.
Mr Chester said he always enjoyed meeting young people from Gippsland who were achieving great things elsewhere in Australia.
“My message for young Gippslanders is that they can do and achieve anything they set their sights on,” Mr Chester said. “The sky really is the limit.”
