Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester (pictured) says work is progressing well on the Kalimna rockwall loop walk which is currently closed for a major upgrade.
The rock wall which was built more than 35 years ago has some significant drainage, erosion and undermining issues and it’s repair is part of a larger project that received $2.25 million from the previous Federal Government.
East Gippsland civil construction firm Cal Civil is undertaking the rockwall works over the next month.
