Local MP Darren Chester recently visited and attended a school assembly at St Mary’s Primary School in Maffra.
Mr Chester presented student leaders with achievement certificates and spoke with them about his role as a Member of Parliament.
“I spoke about the electorate of Gippsland, how laws are made and reminded students about the importance of always trying their best,” Mr Chester said.
“It is great to see such passionate young people taking on leadership roles in our primary schools.”
