An enthusiastic group of Metung Primary School students had a chance to ask questions of Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester when he visited on Tuesday.

Mr Chester spoke to the students about his background and also gave an insight to the inner workings of the Parliament.

Students quizzed Mr Chester on the role of an MP and other non-serious topics, such as his favourite footy team.

Following the talk, Mr Chester presented the school with new Australian and Aboriginal flags.
